Many of us remember physical examinations - in schools, institutes in enterprises
When doctors of different specialties came to the team, sometimes laboratory assistants, mobile x-ray machines, etc. and all examined. That, check-up is the same thing - a complete medical examination of the body, only now it is called the fashionable English word check up (which literally means: control, inspection, check).
First of all:
a comprehensive medical examination of the whole organism is carried out to identify abnormalities in the work of its organs and systems, which allows to identify disorders and diseases at the earliest stages of development and effectively treat them.
Secondly:
thanks to such a comprehensive examination, the patient receives the results in just a few days, often with the doctor’s recommendations for more detailed examinations or treatment, if a disease is detected.
The main advantage of check up examinations is an early, timely diagnosis of many dangerous and even fatal diseases. As an example, one can cite breast cancer, which, with timely diagnosis, can be cured in almost 100% of cases, and early diagnosis of diabetes and diseases of the cardiovascular system can save your life.
The second important advantage is convenience. All analyzes, studies and consultations will be carried out by the clinic's specialists with maximum comfort and in a short time.
Probably the only drawback of the check-up program is the rather high cost in private clinics. But if you look at it on the other hand, the cost of health is incomparably higher.
Remember that a full medical examination is an order of magnitude cheaper than examining each organ individually. In some clinics, there is the concept of a “small check up,” when, on the advice of a family doctor, you examine one particular body system in which the doctor found a malfunction.
Such examinations are needed for those people who are accustomed to taking care of themselves and their health, who do not have time for medical examination. It must be remembered that prevention is the best way to maintain health and prevent the most serious diseases.
According to the recommendation of the WHO, check up diagnostics is needed for such categories of the population:
- those who already have certain problems or complaints from the authorities or systems;
- people who have a genetic predisposition to disease or are sick by relatives (diabetes, oncology, etc.);
- people who work or live in a contaminated area;
- people over 35 who care about their health;
- responsible parents who want to have a baby.
A full medical examination can be done in Ukraine both in a private and in a public clinic. In the latter, it will be free or almost free, in the direction of a family doctor, but it can take an incredible amount of your time and energy (given the chaos that is happening in our clinics).
There is another option: the check up program abroad. For example, in Poland. The company can help to undergo a complete medical examination using the most modern technologies, by connecting leading experts. In the clinic, you choose the check up program. Your doctor may advise you on what to look for. All examinations are carried out within one to two days without admission to the hospital.
If we compare the cost of a full medical examination here and in Poland, then given the most modern technical equipment, the qualifications of specialists and the organization of the process, the price seems absolutely reasonable and affordable. https://polymedex.org/clinic/intour-polska-chek-ap
